These examples come in two kinds. Public examples are documented events and incidents in Forks, with sources; they are not projects we served. Planning scenarios are hypothetical, written to show how a rental could be set up.

Public examples

US 101 slides, 2021 and 2026

Two slides south of Forks led to emergency repairs and closures (WSDOT 2022; WSDOT 2026). Kitchens that depend on deliveries along US 101 should plan cold storage and a backup cooking line.

Forever Twilight in Forks Festival

Forks hosts a four-day Twilight festival each September; the festival page lists September 9 to 12, 2027 (Forks festival). For one festival, Peninsula Daily News reported 800 to 1,000 fans expected, with the Forks Chamber of Commerce describing packed pre-festival events (Peninsula Daily News).

Planning scenarios

Planning scenario: school kitchen during a remodel

A district remodels its only kitchen over the summer. A kitchen trailer and a dish trailer park by the cafeteria, and summer meals continue.

Planning scenario: festival-week cold storage

A restaurant expecting festival crowds adds a refrigerated trailer for extra stock, so it isn't relying on a mid-week delivery along US 101.

Matching the equipment

A mobile kitchen trailer replaces a cooking line; a dishwashing trailer replaces a dish room; a refrigeration trailer adds cold storage. Many Forks projects need only one of the three.

Starting rates for a mobile kitchen trailer rental in Forks follow the company price list: kitchens from $4,995 a month, dishwashing trailers from $4,995, and refrigeration from $1,895. Delivery, setup, and pickup are quoted for your address; utilities, water and wastewater service, permits, fuel, and food are not included. Use the rental calculator for a preliminary figure, then send your Forks address and dates for a quote.
