Trailer Add-On Rentals: Stairs, Ramps, and Grease Traps
Our add-on rentals finish the setup for a mobile kitchen trailer, dishwashing trailer, or crew trailer: entry stairs, an access ramp for carts and step-free access, and a grease trap for kitchen drains. Add them to an emergency rental or a planned project, short-term or long-term. Hospitals, schools, contractors, and caterers include them in their orders. We deliver and set them up with the trailer, and our line is open 24/7. Compare the add-ons below and request a quote.

How to pick the right add-on
Every trailer needs a way in. Stairs take about 5 to 15 minutes to set once the trailer is placed. A ramp takes about 4 to 6 hours and suits sites moving carts or needing step-free access.
A grease trap catches fats, oils, and grease from kitchen drains before wastewater leaves the site. Ask your local health or wastewater authority whether one is required; we size it with your quote.

Rental terms at a glance
Here's how a rental works, wherever the job is. A quote covers the equipment, delivery, setup, and pickup for your location. An inquiry doesn't reserve equipment; we confirm availability for each project.
Rental terms
Rent by the week or by the month: 1 week or monthly, short-term or long-term lease.
Hours
Calls answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including emergencies.
Setup time
Overall about 5 hours for kitchen and dishwashing trailers, about 1 hour for other units. With stairs, 5 to 15 minutes when stairs are needed; with a ramp, 4 to 6 hours when a ramp is needed.
Delivery and GPS
Delivery is scheduled for your site and confirmed in the quote. GPS tracking possible on request.
Why choose us
Why food service teams choose Family Entertainment Group USA
When a kitchen goes offline, the meals don't stop. Patients still eat at noon, students still line up, and crews still need dinner. A working temporary kitchen, dish line, and cold storage keep that schedule intact while the permanent space is rebuilt or repaired.
Accelerated Deployment
Delivery is scheduled around the day your kitchen closes, so there's no gap in service.
24/7 Emergency Service
Our line is answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so a failed walk-in at 2 a.m. gets a real answer.
End-to-End Project Support
You get help matching the trailer to your menu, staff, and site before anything ships.
Flexible Rental Solutions
Rent for a week, a month, or a long-term lease that follows your construction schedule.
Heavy-Duty Commercial Equipment
Commercial ranges, convection ovens, tilting skillets, and dish machines built for institutional volume.
Experienced Logistics Coordination
We coordinate access, setup timing, and pickup so the work around the trailer keeps moving.
Why clients trust us
What you see is what we quote: a named trailer, its listed equipment, a starting monthly price, and a person on the phone any hour. We serve hospitals, nursing homes, schools and universities, correctional facilities, government and military sites, hotels, resorts, and caterers.

When kitchens go offline: five situations we plan for
These are the situations that usually lead to a call. Each one is a scenario to plan around, not a description of a specific customer.
1. After a storm, flood, or outage
A kitchen fire, even a small one, usually means hood cleaning, inspection, and repairs before cooking resumes. A restaurant or care home in Geneseo could move service into a kitchen trailer parked outside until the space is cleared.
2. Major construction
When a hospital adds a wing, utility tie-ins can take the existing kitchen offline in phases. In Estes Park, a phased project like that could run food service from a leased mobile kitchen during each shutdown.
3. Kitchen renovation
Hotel kitchen remodels collide with banquet calendars. A hotel in Sturgis could keep its events booked by running them from a rented commercial kitchen beside the building.
4. Emergency equipment access
In a declared disaster, public emergency logistics run through state and county emergency management agencies and their staging areas. Our deliveries are arranged separately with you: we agree the route, the gate, and the placement for your site before the truck leaves.
5. What a rental costs
Budget from $1,895 a month for emergency cold storage, $4,995 for a dish trailer, and $4,995 for a full kitchen trailer, by the month or the week. These starting rates apply in every location we serve. Delivery, setup, pickup, utilities, and permits are quoted for your address. Compare every unit's price or build an estimate in the rental calculator.

Emergency kitchen rentals nationwide
A fire, flood, or failed hood can close a kitchen overnight. Call any hour and have ready: your address, meals per day, the date the kitchen went down, and the power and water available on site.
FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Can multiple trailers be set up at one site?
Yes. A common setup pairs a kitchen trailer with a dishwashing trailer and a refrigerated trailer, placed so staff can move between them. We plan the layout, power, and water for all of them together.
What type of dishwashing trailer do I need?
Match it to volume. A 22 to 26 ft low-temperature push-through trailer handles moderate service; 30 and 38 ft conveyor trailers handle hospital, campus, and correctional volume. Note that the 30 ft conveyor trailer needs three-phase power.
How much does a kitchen trailer rental cost?
Mobile kitchen trailers start from $4,995 per month, dishwashing trailers from $4,995 per month, and refrigeration from $1,895 per month. Delivery, setup, pickup, utilities, and permits are quoted separately for your location.
What kitchen equipment can I rent?
Mobile kitchen trailers from 24 ft to 40 ft, dishwashing trailers with push-through or conveyor machines, and refrigerated trailers and containers. Kitchens range from standard cooking lines to bulk kitchens with tilting skillets and walk-in coolers.
Do temporary kitchen trailers need permits?
Often, yes, but it varies. Health, building, fire, and temporary-use approvals depend on your city or county, your facility, and how the kitchen will be used. Check with your local authorities early; we can share equipment details they ask for.
What utilities does a kitchen trailer need?
Electrical service, potable water, and a wastewater plan. Our kitchen trailers list 220V single-phase service at 200 to 220 amps; each trailer's page shows its own requirement. Wastewater can go to a sewer connection or to holding and pump-out, depending on the site.
