How to choose

Choose the function first, then the size

Start with what has to keep working. If the whole kitchen is coming out, you need a kitchen trailer, and usually a dish trailer if you serve on reusable ware. If only the walk-in failed, a refrigerated trailer may be all you need. Then size by meals per day and menu: standard lines for conventional service, combo kitchens when you also lose cold storage, bulk kitchens for institutional volume.

Finally, check utilities. Each unit page lists its electrical service where we have it. The 30 ft conveyor dish trailer needs three-phase power; most other units run on single-phase service.

Projects that keep people on site for weeks need more than a kitchen. Size shower and restroom trailers by people and shifts, laundry by loads per day, and sleeper containers by beds. Plan water and wastewater for all of them at once, so one delivery schedule covers the whole site.

Rental terms at a glance

Plain terms, before you pick up the phone. A quote covers the equipment, delivery, setup, and pickup for your location. An inquiry doesn't reserve equipment; we confirm availability for each project.

  • Rental terms

Rent by the week or by the month: 1 week or monthly, short-term or long-term lease.

  • Hours

Calls answered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including emergencies.

  • Setup time

Overall about 5 hours for kitchen and dishwashing trailers, about 1 hour for other units. With stairs, 5 to 15 minutes when stairs are needed; with a ramp, 4 to 6 hours when a ramp is needed.

  • Delivery and GPS

Delivery is scheduled for your site and confirmed in the quote. GPS tracking possible on request.

Why choose us

Why food service teams choose Family Entertainment Group USA

When a kitchen goes offline, the meals don't stop. Patients still eat at noon, students still line up, and crews still need dinner. A working temporary kitchen, dish line, and cold storage keep that schedule intact while the permanent space is rebuilt or repaired.

  • Accelerated Deployment

Delivery is scheduled around the day your kitchen closes, so there's no gap in service.

  • 24/7 Emergency Service

Call any hour to start an emergency kitchen or refrigeration rental.

  • End-to-End Project Support

From the first call to the last day on site, you have one contact for the rental.

  • Flexible Rental Solutions

Rent for a week, a month, or a long-term lease that follows your construction schedule.

  • Heavy-Duty Commercial Equipment

Equipment lists are published for each trailer, so you know what's inside before it arrives.

  • Experienced Logistics Coordination

Delivery windows, stairs or ramps, and utility hookups are agreed in advance.

Why clients trust us

We don't hide the details. Every trailer page lists its equipment and electrical needs where we have them, every unit shows a starting monthly price, and our line is staffed around the clock. We serve hospitals, nursing homes, schools and universities, correctional facilities, government and military sites, hotels, resorts, and caterers.

Across the country

When kitchens go offline: five situations we plan for

These are the situations that usually lead to a call. Each one is a scenario to plan around, not a description of a specific customer.

  1. 1. After a storm, flood, or outage

A long power outage can spoil a walk-in's contents and damage compressors. For a school district in Sturgis, an emergency refrigeration trailer rental could hold product while the permanent unit is repaired.

  2. 2. Major construction

Remote job sites near Tombstone often have no restaurant within a short drive. A contractor there could feed crews from a mobile kitchen trailer, with shower and restroom trailers on the same delivery.

  3. 3. Kitchen renovation

Replacing a dish room is a renovation too. A hospital near Tombstone could keep trays moving with a dishwashing trailer while the new machine is installed.

  4. 4. Emergency equipment access

In a declared disaster, public emergency logistics run through state and county emergency management agencies and their staging areas. Our deliveries are arranged separately with you: we agree the route, the gate, and the placement for your site before the truck leaves.

  5. 5. What a rental costs

Budget from $1,895 a month for emergency cold storage, $4,995 for a dish trailer, and $4,995 for a full kitchen trailer, by the month or the week. These starting rates apply in every location we serve. Delivery, setup, pickup, utilities, and permits are quoted for your address. Compare every unit's price or build an estimate in the rental calculator.

Emergency kitchen rentals nationwide

A fire, flood, or failed hood can close a kitchen overnight. Call any hour and have ready: your address, meals per day, the date the kitchen went down, and the power and water available on site.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does setup take?

Overall setup is about 5 hours for kitchen and dishwashing trailers and about 1 hour for other units. Stairs take 5 to 15 minutes to place; a ramp, when needed, takes 4 to 6 hours.

Can I rent a temporary kitchen during a renovation?

Yes. Renovation is the most common reason for a kitchen rental. The trailer parks near your building, connects to power and water, and carries food service until the permanent kitchen reopens. Rentals run by the week or month, so the term can follow your construction schedule.

What kitchen equipment can I rent?

Mobile kitchen trailers from 24 ft to 40 ft, dishwashing trailers with push-through or conveyor machines, and refrigerated trailers and containers. Kitchens range from standard cooking lines to bulk kitchens with tilting skillets and walk-in coolers.
